Two circles in the sky, two truths in existence

Today the sky is cloudy, yet the sun can still be seen hidden between the clouds, holding a perfect size in the vastness of the heavens, placed at the exact distance that allows life to exist on Earth. From here, its apparent size is the same as that of the moon, which by contrast is small but close to us, silently accompanying our nights. I watch one set and the other rise as two identical circles in the sky, equal to the eye yet profoundly different in reality, and in that simple image I see the structure of existence itself.

This apparent coincidence is not accidental. The fact that the sun and the moon share the same visual size from our perspective is what allows eclipses to exist, moments where light and shadow meet perfectly, neither fully dominating the other. In ancient cultures, eclipses were seen as sacred thresholds, reminders that balance is not static, but something that happens when opposites align for an instant. Perhaps life itself works in the same way, revealing its deeper meaning only when we allow both forces to meet.

Polarity as the language of reality

For me, the sun and the moon represent the two polarities that shape everything on Earth, the negative and the positive, the expansion and the contraction, not as opposites in conflict but as a complete whole. They do not cancel each other out, they define each other, and without one the other would lose its meaning.

In Taoism, this understanding is expressed through yin and yang, not as good and bad, but as complementary movements of the same underlying reality. Yin contains the seed of yang, and yang carries the seed of yin. Darkness is not the enemy of light, it is the space that allows light to be perceived. Stillness is not the absence of movement, it is the condition that gives movement direction.

Modern science, surprisingly, echoes this ancient wisdom. Physics tells us that particles behave as waves and waves behave as particles, depending on how they are observed. Matter and antimatter emerged together at the beginning of the universe, equal and opposite, shaping everything that exists. Reality itself seems to speak in dualities, not to divide us, but to invite understanding.

The integration of what we are

I am both of those forces as well. Carl Jung called them anima and animus, the inner feminine and the inner masculine, not as roles imposed by the world but as living energies within the psyche. For a long time, I tried to eliminate what I did not like about one side of myself, believing that growth meant becoming only what felt comfortable or socially acceptable. Yet the real secret is not elimination, but completeness.

Jung warned that what we repress does not disappear, it descends into the unconscious, where it gains power and eventually expresses itself in distorted ways. What we refuse to see within ourselves becomes our shadow, and the shadow is not evil, it is simply unlived life. Integration does not mean acting out every impulse, but acknowledging what exists, giving it consciousness, and allowing it to take its rightful place.

I am the person who cries with an open heart, and I am also the one who tastes the ecstasy of happiness without restraint. Both are me, and neither is more correct nor more valuable than the other. Just as Earth and Sky coexist, as life and death define each other, as yin and yang dance in eternal balance, even matter and antimatter once met at the beginning of the universe and annihilated into pure energy. Everything exists to be understood, not to be feared.

Emotions as forgotten teachers

For a long time, humanity has feared certain emotions, labeling them as weakness, darkness, or failure, without realizing that they are simply the other pole of the same coin. Joy cannot exist without sorrow, courage cannot exist without fear, and love cannot exist without vulnerability. When we reject one side, we fragment ourselves, and fragmentation is where suffering begins.

Neuroscience shows that emotions are not obstacles to reason, but essential signals for survival and meaning. Antonio Damasio demonstrated that without emotional input, decision-making collapses. Feeling is not the opposite of intelligence, it is one of its deepest expressions. Yet culturally, we have learned to suppress, to control, to numb, forgetting that emotions are messengers, not enemies.

Integration is not an easy path, but it is an honest one. It asks us to sit with discomfort, to listen rather than suppress, and to recognize that every emotion carries information about who we are and what we need. Nothing within us is accidental.

Walking on what remains

As this year comes to its end, I see life as a path made of stepping stones that slowly disappear behind us as we walk. The past does not return, and the future remains invisible. Only when we place our foot does the next piece appear, because the present moment is the only reality we ever truly touch.

This idea resonates with both existential philosophy and quantum physics. Time, as we experience it, is not a solid line but a sequence of moments collapsing into reality through observation. We do not move through time as much as time moves through us. The future is potential, the past is memory, and the present is the only place where life actually happens.

This understanding brings both humility and peace. We do not need to see the entire road to walk it. We only need the courage to take the next step, trusting that the ground will appear beneath us when we do. Trust, in this sense, is not blind faith, but a deep alignment with the rhythm of life itself.

Becoming whole

Perhaps the sun and the moon within us are not meant to be resolved, but embraced. Perhaps wholeness is not about choosing one side, but about standing at the center, where both are allowed to exist. When we stop fighting our own nature, something softens. The inner war ends, and a quiet clarity emerges.

To be whole is not to be perfect. It is to be honest. To recognize that we are light and shadow, certainty and doubt, strength and fragility, all moving together in a fragile and beautiful balance. And maybe, just maybe, that balance is what it truly means to be alive.

A poem for everyone

For those who are accompanied,
For those who are alone,
For those living with illness,
For those still searching,
For those who believe they have already found themselves,
For everyone, without exception, I dedicate these words:

Your soul chose you,
Even if you believe that is all you are.
Do not listen to the world, listen to your heart,
For the world never dried the tears that were born there.

Its voice is gentle, almost invisible,
Yet it is truer than a thousand screams.
It does not need to become something else,
Because what is true does not transform to be accepted,
It simply is.

The path will be dark at times,
And many questions will remain unanswered,
For we never learned to honor the questions themselves,
We only learned to chase answers,
As if silence held no wisdom.

And what if you were the answer?
Some say the truth is so simple
That we refuse to see it,
Because simplicity dismantles every illusion
The world taught us to desire.

We wait for great promises, for distant lights,
For meanings that arrive from outside,
Because accepting yourself as the answer
Feels too close, too quiet, too real.

And so the truth waits,
Not lost, not gone,
But resting in the depths of your heart,
With the key still warm
In the palm of your own hand.

Forgiveness is often presented as a moral obligation or a spiritual virtue, something we are supposed to reach once we are “evolved enough.” But in my experience, forgiveness is none of that at first. It is a threshold. A narrow and uncomfortable passage that forces us to confront who we are when we stop defining ourselves by what hurt us.

For many years, I carried hatred and resentment as if they were essential parts of my identity. Experiences from my early life shaped the way I trusted the world, the way I related to others, and the way I related to myself. I knew forgiveness was not easy, but what frightened me the most was something deeper: if I forgave, would I be erasing my story? Who would I be without the pain that had accompanied me for so long?

When pain becomes part of the self

There were wounds that felt untouchable, not because they were sacred in a beautiful way, but because they held the memory of a child who had suffered and had never been fully protected. Forgiving felt like silencing that child, like denying the reality of her pain. And for many years, I refused to do that.

I recognize now, with honesty, that the hatred I carried was poisoning me. I was aware of it. And still, there were long seasons in my life when I did not care. Just hearing the word forgiveness triggered rejection in me. I wanted the pain to remain present, visible, undeniable. I wanted it to have a place. Even if that pain was slowly destroying me, at that moment, it felt more loyal than letting go.

The inner journey and the layers of the wound

Years passed before I truly immersed myself in what I often call my inner journey. Meditation, introspection, silence, and the slow release of emotions that had been locked inside for decades became part of my daily life. And, as always happens in this kind of work, the process was not linear.

At first, what surfaced were the most manageable memories, the ones my system was ready to face. Like peeling an onion, layer by layer, I went deeper. Until eventually, I reached a wound that felt like the origin of many others. The root. The first fracture.

Forgiveness did not arrive as a sudden revelation. It arrived as exhaustion. As surrender. As the understanding that forgiveness had nothing to do with the other person, and everything to do with my own freedom.

Forgiveness is not forgetting, it is integrating

There were many moments when I fell back into the past, reliving the same pain again and again. That pain felt like a limb, like an extra arm attached to my body. I could not imagine myself without it. Letting go felt like losing a part of who I was.

I was also deeply perfectionistic, something that looked like strength from the outside. If I appeared flawless, no one would notice how broken I felt inside. But perfectionism is not protection. It is armor that suffocates.

Paulo Coelho writes in The Alchemist:

“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.”

It took me years to understand that this also applies inwardly. That my worth did not depend on how well I carried my pain, nor on how perfectly I hid it.

The alchemy of lived experience

In The Alchemist, Coelho also reminds us:

“What hurts us is what heals us.”

For a long time, I resisted this idea. Today, I live it. I became the alchemist of my own experiences. Nothing that happened to me was wasted. Nothing was meaningless. Every experience, even the most painful ones, became raw material for transformation.

Fritjof Capra, when speaking about life and consciousness, explains:

“The universe is seen as a dynamic web of interrelated events.”

When I stopped isolating my wounds and began to see them as part of a larger pattern, something shifted. My pain was not an anomaly. It was a node in a much bigger network of meaning. Healing did not mean removing the wound, but understanding its place within the whole.

Where the light enters

There is a quote by Rumi that I rejected for years because it felt too gentle for the violence of what I had lived:

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

Only after years of inner work could I truly understand it. The light did not enter by erasing my pain, but by asking me to look at it without resistance. By staying present. By allowing integration instead of rejection.

A message for those who are still resisting

My message with this article is simple: do not give up. The only story that truly deserves to be witnessed is your own. You never know what can emerge when you dare to look honestly within.

I am not saying that life becomes free of challenges. It does not. But something changes fundamentally. It feels like wearing an invisible armor, not made of defense, but of truth. When you have faced your inner darkness, the external world no longer feels so threatening.

Forgiveness did not erase my past. It gave it meaning. And in that meaning, I finally found a sense of fullness that no resentment could ever offer.

When I decided to share this blog, I chose to do it from lived experience and from all the knowledge that has unfolded over the last years. In essence, I believe we are one — and sharing this is an act of union, with you and with myself — because you are my most beautiful mirror.

Yesterday, while observing the trees, something struck me deeply. I realized how much beauty had gone unnoticed all this time. Years ago, I lived in another house surrounded by trees, but I never truly saw them. I was there, but not present. I looked, but I didn’t see.

It wasn’t until I began to undo everything — to let life strip away what was no longer real — that my fascination for nature returned. At first, it came in brief flashes. Now it’s something magnetic, almost alive.

There are days when I go to the park, lie down on the grass, and imagine the magnetism of the Earth’s core and my heart merging into one pulse. In those moments, I feel something awaken — a vibration so subtle yet so powerful — and that’s what I call awakening.

The science and soul of awakening

The word awakening carries many layers. It’s not just a spiritual metaphor — it’s a real transformation of perception, both neurological and energetic.

From the perspective of neuroscience, awakening means reshaping the patterns of the brain. Every thought, every emotion, builds a neural path. For years, I lived inside circuits of fear, guilt, and resistance — repeating the same emotional responses.
But when I began to feel again — to allow silence, to breathe, to notice the trees — new pathways opened. The mind softened. The heart began to guide.

And quantum physics reveals something even deeper: matter is not as solid as we think. Particles exist in potential states until they are observed; energy becomes reality through attention. This means that your perception literally participates in the creation of your world.

Your awakening is not symbolic — it is a quantum event. Each time you choose presence over reaction, compassion over judgment, you collapse a different universe into being.

Perception, consciousness, and the illusion of truth

Everything we see is perception — not truth itself. Our eyes collect photons, our brain translates signals, and our memories assign meaning to them.

Wars, hate, guilt, and fear arise from perceptions mistaken for truth. We don’t see reality; we see through the filters of our mind.

Awakening begins when you start observing the observer — when you realize that the one who watches can also transform what is being seen. This awareness changes everything. You begin to forgive. To release. To breathe. You stop fighting life and start understanding that even pain had a purpose: to bring you home.

The healing power of awakening

Awakening doesn’t erase pain — it transforms your relationship with it. It teaches that suffering is not punishment; it’s communication.
When you feel truly connected — to Earth, to life, to the pulse that sustains you — your nervous system relaxes, your perception expands, and something ancient within you remembers.

There is a peace that arrives when you stop resisting what is.
When I lie beneath the trees, feeling my heartbeat align with the rhythm of the planet, I can almost hear a voice whisper: You are not separate. You never were.

And in that instant, everything makes sense again. The noise fades. The story dissolves. What remains is love — the quiet, unshakable love of being alive.

Cultivating awakening in daily life

Here are some gentle ways to nurture your own awakening:

Feel the Earth — Walk barefoot, touch a tree, let your senses bring you back home.

Observe your mind — When a thought arises, don’t fight it. Watch it pass. You are the sky, not the cloud.

Create silence — Silence is not emptiness; it’s space for truth to echo.

Write from the heart — Journaling helps reveal the voice beneath your conditioning.

Remember beauty — Even in pain, look for signs of grace. Beauty is medicine.

Connect with others — We awaken not alone, but in the mirrors we hold for each other.

The light we fear to shine

The path of awakening isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise.

And as Nelson Mandela said:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Let your awakening be that light.
Not as an idea, but as a lived remembrance — of your unity with the Earth, your quantum nature, and the infinite consciousness breathing through you.

Have you ever stopped to feel the invisible threads that connect everything around you? From the gentle rustle of leaves to the pulse of your own heartbeat, life is not just matter — it’s energy. We are energy. We are vibration.

This isn’t just poetic language. Science and ancient wisdom converge on the same truth: everything in the universe vibrates at a unique frequency, including you.

The Dance of Energy: You Are More Than Flesh and Bone

At your core, you’re a vibrant field of energy — a living, breathing frequency interacting with the world around you. Your thoughts, emotions, and intentions are not just mental states; they are vibrational signals sending ripples through the cosmic ocean.

This understanding is transformative. When you realize that you’re not separate from the energy matrix of the universe but a vital part of it, you begin to see your life differently. You become aware that your inner world shapes your outer reality.

The Search for Answers: Turning Inward to Connect

In the noise and distractions of modern life, it’s easy to lose sight of the deeper questions: Who am I? What is my purpose? Where can I find true peace?

The answers do not lie outside in fleeting achievements or possessions. They dwell quietly within you — in the sacred space where your vibration meets the vast, eternal energy field that binds all life.

By tuning into this vibration, you access a wellspring of wisdom, healing, and transformation.

Awakening Your Vibration: A Path to Spiritual Fulfillment

How do you begin this journey? It starts with awareness — slowing down to listen to the subtle signals of your body, mind, and soul. Practices like sound therapy, meditation, and mindful breathing can help you harmonize your frequency and release blockages.

This is where the magic of tools like tuning forks comes into play. These ancient instruments emit pure vibrations that can resonate with your body’s energy centers (chakras), restoring balance and awakening dormant potentials.
